This will refer to 1 E/A of container marked "SKHU 840008 0" discharged clean from M/S "Golden Gate", to which damage was sustained whilst the container in reference was in your custody.

For immediate utilization purposes, the repair of the damaged container in reference was duly accomplished at our designated facilities at a cost of US$1,000 for your account, which amount you are held liable for, and a copy each of Bill in the amount of US$1,000 and other substantiating related documents is tendered herewith for your requisite action. 

Please settle this claim by paying us in local currency equivalent to US$1,000 at your earliest convenience in full and final settlement for services rendered.

All the drums and similar items are measured for (      ) including hoop etc. But if the length of materials which were installed for opening and closing purposes exceeds 1/4 of the (     ), it shall be added to the diameter.

Since 1 July 2016, Regulation 2 under the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea(SOLAS) imposed on shippers in the case of the shipment of containers the obligation either to weigh the packed container using calibrated and certified equipment, or to weigh the contents of the container and add the weight of the container when empty. In either case, the ( ) is to be recorded with the carrier. A
failure to comply bears the sanction under the SOLAS that the container "should not be loaded onto a ship".

The four so-called 'maritime' Incoterms® rules are intended for use where the seller places the goods on board a vessel at a sea or river port. It is at this point that the seller delivers the goods to the buyer. When these rules are used, the risk of loss of or damage to those goods is on the buyer's shoulders from that port.

The charter of a vessel where the charter party has the right to use his own master and crew on the vessel. Pays all operating expenses.

Special cargo measuring is to calculate the volume and weight of a/an (     ) shaped cargo taking stowage condition, internal rule and (     ) into consideration.

○ Where the subject-matter insured is destroyed, or so damaged as to cease to be a thing of the kind insured, or where the assured is irretrievably deprived thereof, there is a/an (     ).

○ In the case of a/an (     ) no notice of abandonment need be given.

This is to certify that on the 12th day of April, 2020. Mr. M. Smiling, Master of the Norwegian M/S 'Hampton' of Dreammen, which left Busan on the 7th day of April, 2020 with a total of 2,400 tons consisting of general cargo, bound for Hong Kong, Singapore, Pennang and Rangoon and which arrived at Hong Kong on the 11th day of April, 2020, appeared before me, the undersigned Norwegian Consul at Hong Kong and the said captain, fearing the damage might have been occasioned through rough weather, noted protest against all losses, damage, etc., reserving his right to extend this protest whenever necessary.
