This charter is usually for a specified length of time, such as a year, for one voyage or several consecutive voyages among certain ports or ranges of ports. The shipowner supplies the crew and provisions.
In consequence of putting rudder to hard starboard and with strong breeze prevailing at the time and strong tidal current of 2.5 kts, the vessel inclined to approx. 45° portside, causing to lose stability.
It is a guarantee which is issued by the issuing bank at the request of importer in order to take delivery of goods from shipping company before the importer obtain B/L.
○ This rule may be used where more than one mode of transport is employed.
○ The seller delivers when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer on the arriving means of transport ready for unloading at the named place of destination.
○ The seller must contract at its own expense for the carriage of the goods to the named place of destination.
○ The seller has no obligation to the buyer to make a contract of insurance.
○ The seller has no obligation to clear for import.

I hereby beg to report that the above named vessel, under my command, left Busan, laden with iron products and en route to HongKong on the date and place above mentioned, we encountered with boisterous weather and rough seas and the ship labored and strained heavily, shipping much sea water on deck all the time.
The money paid to the charterer in case loading/unloading has been completed within scheduled laydays.
We will ship 100 sets of TV by s/s MV-11 which is due to sail from Busan port on July 12 to Long beach port. We, therefore, ask you to quote us your lowest rate for marine insurance ICC(A) for 110 % of the invoice amounts of US $1,000,000.
A non-negotiable bill of lading that designates a consignee who is to receive the goods, and that obligates the carrier to deliver the goods to that consignee only.
These cargos should be isolated mutually to 24 meter or more.
○ Volume 1 ton by metric system shall be 1 cubic meter.
○ Volume 1 ton by imperial system shall be ( ) cubic feet.
All the drum and similar items are measured for maximum length including hoop etc. But if the length of the materials which were installed for opening and closing purpose exceeds ( ) of the circumferences, it shall be add to diameter.
The anchoring period includes the total number of days from the commencement time of working to the completion time and Sunday, public holiday, rainy day, strike etc.
It is called horizontal method that load or discharge of containers by tractor and forklift through the bow or stern of the vessel.
